Xcel Pathway
The Xcel Pathway requires a lower commitment of training hours than the competitive pathway and is most suited for gymnasts who aspire to compete while having other commitments, therefore requiring a more flexible training schedule. This pathway may serve as an introductory competitive experience for young athletes as well as enable older athletes to compete while advancing at their own pace as competition requirements for each level in the Xcel program are less rigid.
Xcel Competition Levels:
Xcel Bronze & Silver
Recommended training hours: 2-3 sessions per week, 6-9 hours max.
Xcel Gold
Recommended training hours: 3-4 sessions per week, 9-12 hours max.
Xcel Platinum & beyond
Recommended training hours: 3-4 sessions per week, minimum 12 hours
