Competitive Pathway
Our Competitive Pathway is based upon the Canadian Competitive Program (CCP) adapted from the USA Junior Olympic Program. It was developed with the belief that all athletes, regardless of their potential, must possess a solid foundation in order to advance in the sport safely.
The CCP Program consists of 10 levels – Levels 1 to 5 are compulsory levels where gymnasts perform a set of compulsory skills on each apparatus, while Levels 6 to 10 are optional levels where gymnasts perform routines with different combinations of skills to showcase their strengths and abilities, as well as allowing for a greater variety in routine composition.
The competitive pathway requires strong commitment and is most suitable for devoted and determined gymnasts who have chosen gymnastics as their major sporting event.
